I am obsessed with this recipe. My family calls it THE BEST hummus recipe in general. it is a healthy, delicious and clean recipe and I cannot wait for you all to make this terrific appetizer & snack.
1/2tspgranulated monk fruit sweetener or granulated cane sugar
1/4tsponion powder
Instructions
Add 2/3 cup of frozen shelled edamame to a microwave safe container with 2 tbsp water. Microwave for 3 1/2 minutes giving it a few stirs. Then rinse in cold water and set aside.
Then you will drain and rinse your chick peas as well and set aside
Then in your high power food processor add your edamame, chick peas, grape seed oil, lemon juice, tahini, salt, onion powder & sweetener.
Puree on high for 1 minute. Then take spatula, scrape down the sides and then puree for another minute
Pour into serving bowl of choice and then top with toasted pine nuts, red pepper flakes, feta & more edamame and dig in!
Then store in an air tight container for 5 to 7 days in the fridge!
