Okay, if you have ever had Boars Head Chocolate Hummus, you have automatically jump on board to this… it is AMAZING. It is heavenly & you feel like ( as well as do) sit there and eat it with a spoon 🙂 It tastes like brownie batter, oh so delish!
So of course, I wanted to make my own at home— it is SO stinking GOOD.. and has a prebiotic punch to it! Now I feel like some people may seem skeptical like chocolate & hummus together? But I am not kidding you, the chickpeas/Garbanzo beans you cannot even tastel! It is creamy, chocolatey, easy to make & so fun! Also chickpeas are packed with nutrients, help with weight control, digestive health & so much more, so this is the PERFECT sweet treat to pick for the week.
Who is responsible for PERFECT healthy snack?
Karuna! Karuna is a company that creates prebiotic superfood beverages. There are SO many things I love about Karuna, so I am going to bullet them– because you gotta know!
+ It was founded by a boss babe, Angela. She noticedStruggling with the lack of plant based foods in our diets in America. Then she also noticed all the highly processed foods– so she took care of that!
+ 0 grams of added sugar, & sweetened with monk fruit
+ I feel GOOD about Ainsley drinking Karuna drinks, because lets be honest, kids don’t get enough plant based in their diet a lot of times. Not to mention the digestive health & prebiotic benefits that come with it!
+They are packed with whole plant based ingredients, which aide in digestive health. Full of antioxidants & clean protein
So needless to say when using their Cacao, Chestnut & Pear whole plant smoothie, it takes this hummus to a whole new level! ( click here to see all the yummy drinks!)
