If I could eat two types of food for the rest of my life it would be: Pizza & Mexican Food. Hands down, those two I could not do without! Therefore, I have a good amount of pizza recipes and Mexican Food recipes I love to make! This Tangy Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza being one of them.
I love Caesar salad… I love chicken in my Caesar salad AND I love pizza, so why not throw them all together and make this an addicting must make recipe!

One of the best things with this recipe as well is a cleaner easy homemade Caesar dressing. Making my own dressings is huge for me. I am big fan of making easy, clean, delicious dressings instead of the store bought. Majority of store bought dressings are filled with added sugars and junk! Low fat dressings are one of the biggest pitfalls I think we fall under, thinking it will be good for our bodies… but in the long run our bodies stores the extra sugars and additives in low fat dressings as fat. Not the good fat. It is MUCH better to make the dressings ourselves. Don’t worry I have you covered 🙂
How to make the Tangy Caesar Dressing
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar can add more if you want more tang!
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
- 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup light olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- **salt & pepper to taste–however I would start with 1/4 tsp pepper and salt. I personally like 1/2 tsp pepper in mine.
In an immersion blender safe container, add all the ingredients from above. Immersion blend up and down for about 30-45 seconds. Then take a spoon and stir as well.
Then refrigerate until you are ready to make your pizzas during the week or that night! Store in air tight container for up to 5-7 days in the refrigerator.
Delicious Marinade for the Chicken on the Tangy Chicken Caesar Salad Pizzas
- 2 chicken breasts butterflied
- oregano 1 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder 1 tsp
- onion powder 1 tsp
- salt 1/2 tsp
- ground dill 1/2 tsp
- paprika 1/2 tsp
- garlic salt 1/2 tsp
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- After you butterfly your chicken breasts or buy them already butterflied add them to a baking dish
- In a small bowl add your seasonings : oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dill, paprika and garlic salt, whisk together and set side.
- Pour 1/4 cup lemon juice over your butterflied chicken breasts. Toss both sides. Then sprinkle seasoning evenly on both sides of each chicken breast.
- In a large frying pan spray with olive oil & add seasoned chicken to frying pan. Cook about 5 minutes on each side at medium heat, until no pink. Then set aside.
This is great to make ahead of time as well for salads, wraps etc. Then have for pizzas during the week as well!

Tangy Chicken Caesar Salad Pizza
Ingredients
- 6 10in pizza crusts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 12 oz shredded mozzarella
Caesar Salad & Dressing
- 2 heads romaine lettuce chopped
- 3/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- 1/3 cup white wine vinegar
- 1/3 cup light olive oil
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1/4 tsp pepper ( to taste, I prefer 1/2 tsp)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8-10 cherry tomatoes
Caesar Chicken
- 2 butterflied chicken breasts
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp ground dill
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
Instructions
- Preheat oven to temperature based on the packaged instructions for your pizza crust.
- In a small bowl whisk together the olive oil and the minced garlic
- Once your Caesar Chicken is ready and your Caesar Salad you will bake the pizzas
- On each crust brush with a basting brush the olive oil and garlic mixture for the olive garlic sauce. Then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top, cherry tomatoes sliced and slices of the Caesar Chicken.
- Bake pizzas for the amount of time your pizza crust instructions suggest. Take out of oven and top with the Caesar Salad and ENJOY!
Caesar Salad & Dressing
- Chop your romaine lettuce and place in large salad bowl. Add in 1/4 cup shredded parmesan and sliced cherry tomatoes. Set aside.
- In an immersion blender safe container add in the white wine vinegar, mayonnaise, Greek Yogurt, 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese, light olive oil, minced garlic, pepper and salt. Immersion blend for 30-45 seconds.
- Stir with dressing with spoon and adjust to taste with salt and pepper. Then toss your salad ingredients with the amount of dressing you'd prefer. We also tend to have some leftover. Then refridgerate until pizza is ready.
Caesar Chicken
- After you butterfly your chicken breasts or buy them already butterflied add them to a baking dish.
- In a small bowl add your seasonings : oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, dill, paprika and garlic salt, whisk together and set side.

Prepping Ahead of Time
- The Caesar Dressing and Caesar Chicken can be made ahead of time, so that you can throw this together even easier during the week night.
- Also while the chicken cooks is normally when I will make the dressing. It takes such little time and that way I get the meal done faster during the week if I have not prepped it ahead of time.
