What Easy & Delicious Ingredients Are In Sugar Free Crock Pot Party Meatballs?
Not only do we have Karviva Unwind being the star of the show, but below you will find all the rest of the simple ingredients you need to throw into one bowl to form the meatballs. This recipe uses 1 bowl, 1 frying pan & 1 crockpot that is it. I love to make this recipe gluten free, because it agrees with my digestive system better. However, if gluten agrees with you, feel free to use regular bread crumbs & all purpose flour to make it non gluten free. However, if you have never tried brown rice flour, I highly recommend it. It is high in fiber, potassium, iron and antioxidants.
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup gluten free bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup fresh chopped parsley or 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp brown rice flour
- 1 container of Karviva Unwind

Deep Frying Pan: What keeps these meatballs staying so tender is by braising them on either side ahead of time, and you will do that in a deep frying pan.
Medium Cookie Scoop: Getting even sizes for your meatballs are so important especially for those party sized meatballs, that is why I recommend using a cookie scoop! Perfect size every time.

We love to have these meatballs as an appetizer, but they can be enjoyed in so many other delicious ways as well!
Meatball Grinders: With a hoagie, layer on the Sugar Free Crock Pot Party Meatballs, provolone cheese on top, broil and devour!
Banza Pasta and Meatballs: Cook some of your favorite pasta, ours is Banza Chickpea pasta. Then pour sauce from crockpot & meatballs over it.
Meatballs with Salad: Have the meatballs by themselves with a delicious hearty salad on the side like this one.
Meatballs with Baked Potato: Instead of stuffing a baked potato with ground meat, try cutting up some of the meatballs and placing in your baking potato, drizzle sauce on top, fresh parsley and enjoy!
Sugar Free Crock Pot Party Meatballs
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup gluten free bread crumbs
- 1/3 cup fresh chopped parsley or 1 tbsp dried parsley
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tbsp brown rice flour
- 1 container of Karviva Unwind
Instructions
- In a large bowl add in your ground beef, 3 cloves garlic minced, 1/3 cup chopped parsley OR 1 tbsp dried parsley, 1 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp onion powder, 1/4 tsp paprika, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper and with your hands mix until incorporated
- Then add in 1 egg and 1/3 cup gluten free bread crumbs and then take a spatula and incorporate until combined again.
- After heat 2 tbsp of olive oil in a deep frying pan with a lid. Now take your medium cookie scooper and scoop out your bite sized meatballs, and roll into a ball, place on large plate. Then once they are all rolled, place them in the deep frying pan one after another on medium heat.
- Braise for 2 minutes on one side, then flip onto the other side that was facing up and braise for 2 minutes. Then with tongs place your meatballs at the bottom of the crockpot
- In same frying pan on medium heat (DO NOT CLEAN) add in your 1 tbsp of brown rice flour. Whisk the flour around the browned meat bits. Let it cook for 1 minute. Then add in the 2 tbsp tomato paste & Karviva Unwind. Whisk until combined
- Allow to come to a boil, then simmer for 4 minutes. Sprinkle 1/2 tsp salt in & whisk. Then pour the sauce over the meatballs in the crockpot. Cook on low for 1 1/2 hours in crock pot.
- Then enjoy however you want! Be it an appetizer on a meatball grinder or any ideas above. You will love these!
