I seriously wish I could put this in all caps because it is BOMB. No shame if you just sit & eat it all day long. The creaminess between the chocolate, peanut butter & milk of choice just owns it. PLUS the banana you put in when you cook the oats in the insta pot…watch out world, you are about to have the best breakfast. This Easy Peanut Butter Chocolate Instant Pot Oatmeal may be a long name, but it will not stay around your house long. π

How much peanut butter and chocolate do you recommend to mix in?
Thank you!
Michelle
How do I reheat?
Alaina Hinkle
Hi Michelle! The best way to reheat is to pour a little bit of your milk of choice on it the next morning & heat in microwave in 30 second increments! Enjoy!!
Kimberly Macenko
One last thing. How much water to add?
Thanks again!
Alaina Hinkle
No worries! I use milk or DF milk in the recipe, so I would go by those measurements! For the peanut butter I would say if you love peanut butter like us we do about 1/4-1/3 cup & then same with chocolate chips! Add as little or as much as you’d like π Can’t wait for you to enjoy!

Hi – what does “once it hits LO 05” mean??
Alaina Hinkle
Hi! That means naturally releasing for L0 05. So that means that once it has fully cooked high pressure time it will read LO 00. Then you will let it naturally release for 5 minutes and it will read LO 00. Then you will quick release with the steam release valve BEFORE you take the lid off the valve needs to drop. :)! Hope you enjoy!

I just made this and am so looking forward to breakfast tomorrow! I used really THICK rolled oats (like 2x as thick as the *quacker* company would label ‘old fashioned’), 2% milk–an extra 1/2 cup to accommodate the THICK oats, banana & a half b/c I like them, recipe’s amount of maple syrup, extra cinnamon and dash of nutmeg. I did 8 minutes high pressure but noticed at 2 minutes NR the valve had dropped so I’m not sure if it ever came to pressure? Opened it up, stirred and it was very liquidy. Let it sit for 10+ minutes and the oats absorbed it all. Wonderful consistency!! And the tip about greasing the insert with coconut oil did not fall on deaf ears! Most important step in the recipe!!
Alaina Hinkle
Ah yay Sara!! I am so glad this worked so well for you and you were able to accommodate with the oats & I love the extra banana π sounds great!! Hope you have a great day!
