These donuts are the most delicious donuts with the best texture. Who said making donuts has to be so hard? Especially when chocolate is involved!
Kodiak Cake Chocolate Donuts
1 ½ cup Buttermilk Power Cakes
1 egg
½ granulated sugar
¼ cup cocoa powder
⅔ cup milk (milk of choice)
¼ cup greek yogurt
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup chocolate chips

These Easy High Protein Chocolate Donuts are easy to make in the morning because of Kodiak Cakes. What is so special about this Kodiak Cake Buttermilk Power Cake mix?

- In a big mixing bowl add in your dry ingredients. Kodiak Buttermilk Power Cakes mix, sugar and cocoa powder.
- In a medium sized bowl add in your wet ingredients. Milk, yogurt, oil, egg & vanilla extract. Whisk until thoroughly combined.
- Pour wet ingredients into the dry and fold with spatula until combined. Then fold in chocolate chips.
- Grease a 6 donut baking dish. Then pipe the donut batter into the baking dish. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until toothpicks come out clean
- Let them completely cool before transferring out of the dish to the cooling rack. [Optional to top with icing and sprinkles, however you must wait till they are cooled.]
- Store in an airtight container on the counter top for 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5.
