Who is the Star of the Easy Crock-Pot Chili Dog Casserole?
I am so excited to be bringing you guys this recipe in collaboration with Wellshire. Ainsley is not a big meat fan yet she devours Wellshire bacon & Wellshire hot dogs. Hog dogs can always be hit or miss depending on the quality of ingredients. However, with Wellshire there is no question it is all about quality. They are the best hot dogs I have ever had and I know you all will agree!
Wellshire’s is a brand that has been in our grocery cart every week for years. You guys know I only partner with brands, I know, I love and I trust!
How Wellshire got started, hits home to me very much & a lot of my WHY behind HGHF. Their founder was worried that his children were growing up eating overly processed meats that contained chemicals. So in order to have his children live well, they needed to eat well and low and behold Wellshire was born! Wellshire to this day strives to bring us high quality, minimal ingredient and all natural meat products!
I am so excited to be bringing you Wellshire recipes to you all frequently. They are a company that we love so much and I cannot wait for you to continue to love them!

Tips When making Easy Crock-Pot Chili Dog Casserole
Do I have to use a 4qt Crock-Pot?
I recommend using the smaller sized crock pot for this recipe either 4 or 6 qt. Because if it is much bigger than you won’t have an even layer of tater tots for the bottom layer and then layers will be too thin.
Can I use chili that I make from home?
Yes! You can use 2 cans of your favorite or 4 cups of homemade chili
What is the best way to store this Easy Crock-Pot Chili Dog Casserole?
In an air tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days
How should I serve this for dinner?
there are two DELICIOUS great options 🙂

Mandi
I’m confused of how to get the casserole into a baking dish in order to broil it to make the top tator tots crispy. If you take them out of the crock pot won’t it mix together so they won’t be on top anymore? Is there a trick to this or is it ok if they get mixed in? Sorry I really want to try this but don’t want to misunderstand something and it turn out bad.😁

Hi Mandi!!
If you just take a large spoon and scoop straight down and up you will still have a lot of the taters on top. It’s okay if some go under the chili. Then add more cheese on top broil and enjoy! Thanks for asking!!

You can also strategically place a few on top of your dish if you want to, just take some tongs and grab a few out of the crockpot and place on top. That always works too 🙂
