FLAVORFUL CINNAMON CARAMEL VEGAN FRENCH TOAST STICKS

These are exactly what you want to make for breakfast this week! Make ahead of time during the weekend and refrigerate the rest of the sticks to heat up for an easy breakfast.

INGREDIENTS:

– Bread – Milk – Flax seed – Coconut sugar – Date syrup – Cinnamon – Vanilla extract – Almond extract – Butter

Prep them ahead of time, freeze them, and pop them out whenever you are ready!

Instructions:

This recipe uses 8 pieces of bread, usually, the size of gluten-free bread is small, so each slice yields about 3 pieces.

In a small bowl, add 2 tbsp ground flax seed and 6 tbsp of dairy-free milk of your choice. Whisk together with a fork until combined.

In a large bowl, add in 1/2 cup of dairy free milk of choice, date syrup, cinnamon, vanilla extract, almond extract, and coconut sugar. Whisk together until fully incorporated.

With your fork, check the flax egg; it should have thickened perfectly by now. Pour into the large bowl and whisk to incorporate the rest of the liquid ingredients.
